Salman Khan has apparently come to the rescue of good friend Himesh Reshmmiya's upcoming film Damadamm, which is slated to release on the same day as Shah Rukh khan's Ra.one.

Mumbai, India (prHWY.com) October 21, 2011 - Salman Khan has apparently come to the rescue of good friend Himesh Reshmmiya's upcoming film Damadamm, which is slated to release on the same day as Shah Rukh khan's Ra.one. Salman Khan is reportedly backing Himesh and is also expected to watch Himesh's film in a specially organized trial.

As per sources, "Himesh Reshmmiya will be showing his film to Salman khan before the release of the film. Moreover Salman khan is giving the music composer some tips on film promotion. Himesh said that though his film is pitted against Ra.one, he is very confident that Damadamm will bring a smile on the faces of the audience and leave a mark. Himesh Reshmmiya considers Sallu his lucky charm.

What is also interesting is that Salman Khan is also part of a promotional video for Esha Deol's comeback film Tell Me O Khuda. Tell me O Khuda releases a day before Ra.one.
