Las Vegas Price Match Site Helps Consumers Save Money

Frugal Ferret, an online savings blog, has added a new feature to their site for shoppers to price match weekly sale items at one store rather than "chasing the deals."

Las Vegas, NV (prHWY.com) October 24, 2011 - Frugal Ferret, an online savings blog, has added a new feature to their site for shoppers to price match weekly sale items at one store rather than "chasing the deals."

Founder, Billie Hillier, stated "Out of frustration of driving 20 minutes down the road to save on produce, I started a spreadsheet of all the weekly ads for my family to use containing items from local stores. Once the spreadsheet was created, I decided to share with others on our site. Since everyone uses different platforms and spreadsheet software we moved to an easier method for users to select their items, print their list and save money!"

The price match site contains weekly ads from approximately 20 Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Henderson stores. The sheet also matches current coupons to the sale items for additional savings. "This allows consumers to easily identify coupons they may have from Sunday inserts or show them where they can print coupons for the items on sale." explained Billie.

With the "Extreme Couponing" craze more and more people are trying to save money but find it frustrating because they don't get the savings like on the TLC show. "We don't have double coupons in Las Vegas but it doesn't mean you can't save money. Price matching is one of the easiest ways to save without using coupons. You add coupons to the price matching equation for additional savings. My average for the one store I do most of my grocery shopping is about 50% and my drug store shopping is about 90%+ savings. But, know your store's policy on coupons and price matching before you start. Otherwise, you may find yourself not saving the way you should be.

Users of the Frugal Ferret site will find saving tools such as a multiple transaction list, coupon database, current hot deals, free samples, printable coupons, money savings tips, and more to teach consumers how to save money with little effort. "We do all the work for you to save you not only money, but also your time." commented Billie.
