Outcome of Betrayal Releases Life-Affirming Metal Song "Right of Passage"
What do metal music and inspiration have to do with each other? The new band Outcome of Betrayal demonstrates that metal songs can have a positive message with their recently released song "Right of Passage."

Right of Passage is available on iTunes, CDBaby, Amazon and from the metal band's new website. The song is the first to be released from the band's new full length EP, which will come to music vendors in 2012. Three other new songs will also be released sometime after Christmas.
Thousands of fans joined Outcome of Betrayal on their Facebook page in the first week after the release of Right of Passage. The positive response has been tremendous. The metal band has enjoyed this connection with their listeners.
A spokesman for the group said, "We would like our music to reach out to as many people as possible and hope to one day inspire others."
The five-member metal band consists of Vocalist James Simpson, Guitarist Brian Crangle, Guitarist and Vocalist Alex Hughes, Bass Player Mark Drago, and Drummer Patrick Sommer. Together they create a powerful metal sound that is also uniquely positive.
Outcome of Betrayal members have been strongly influenced by a variety of established bands within their genre. These bands include In Flames, Killswitch Engage, Soilwork, As I Lay Dying, and Haste the Day.
Outcome of Betrayal is also working with Matthew Amelung at Second Story Studios in Saint Louis, Missouri as they record their new EP. The band is now booking shows throughout the Midwest. In the studio or on the road, Outcome of Betrayal is a band with excellent skills, talent and promise of more amazing music yet to come.
A brand new website is being launched to give fans and new listeners a chance to learn more about the band, find appearance dates, and buy music and merchandise. The online store will sell hoodies, T shirts, wrist bands and stickers.
Outcome of Betrayal has already made a great start in the world of metal music since their beginning in 2008. Their new release of Right of Passage is an indication of a band with thoughtful creative processes and powerful performances. Outcome of Betrayal started in Saint Louis in 2008. After a few changes, the final band member list included James Simpson for vocals, Brian Crangle for guitar, Alex Hughes for vocals and guitar, Mark Drago for bass, and Patrick Sommer for drums. The band seeks to play exciting metal music with a positive outlook.
As of 2010, the band had already compiled a full set of music and recorded a 4 song demo. In the last year, they have upped the ante by beginning recording on their new full length EP.
