Sheffield, United Kingdom (prHWY.com) November 9, 2011 - The current ResearchWritingCenter.com humor contest has been in progress for several weeks, and is percolating along at a great rate. There has been a lively buzz on our website, and much excitement among our writers. Our staff is just barely able to keep up with the submissions. It has been a pleasure to read them, because the stories are funny and demonstrate the talent of our fans and users. All are welcome to enter the contest; all that is necessary is that they tell us their funniest story about their experience as a freelancer. Money prizes sweeten the pot for the winners.

This is the first contest of the current high season, and, like previous ones, is garnering a very gratifying response. Unlike previous ones, however, the topic is not something constructive and edifying like tips and advice for writers, but instead, something to gladden the heart and bring a smile. We are asking our entrants to write up the funniest story they can remember from their time as freelancers.

It can be anything appropriate, whether drawn from an interaction with a client, or a company, or something that occurred while writing. As long as it is true (or at least plausible), we want to hear about it.

We already have a great crop of entries from our writers, which our staff readers are enjoying reviewing. These essays are self-revelatory, genuinely funny, and show the intelligence and talent that we know characterizes our writers all over the world. We have stories of missteps and misunderstandings, challenges faced and overcome, and the intrusion of the world into the process of writing.

The winners will be chosen from the stories that make us laugh, smile, or chuckle, and that have the potential for entertaining all our website users. We hopeour fans will read all the entries and enjoy them thoroughly, even those who don't enter the contest themselves.

The contest is open to all who visit our website or follow us on our Facebook page (over 18 years of age). The rules are all listed there, as well as the attractive prizes, ranging from 25 dollars to 200 dollars. This is a great chance for would-be writers who have been 'lingering on the beach' to jump right in the water, metaphorically speaking, and show off their skills in a low-risk setting. We might have a future Mark Twain amongst our fans!
