FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Considered to be the best online guide for people looking to become firefighters, FirefighterCamp.com today went live in cyberspace at www.FirefighterCamp.com.
This new firefighter training informational site, according to Lieutenant Kelvin T. Bell, is particularly targeting young people starting their careers in fire fighting.
"It doesn't matter what's your particular interest in the fire fighting, we have resources and information you can easily access to bring you up to speed in no time," said Lieutenant Bell.
"So, whether you have just graduated from college and looking to enter the fire service, or you'd like to change careers and are considering becoming a firefighter, then, you need not to look any further for resources material, we have all you need right here on our site," he added.
FirefighterCamp.com, according to Lieutenant Bell, was created because he's "frequently asked by young people to explain to them how to become a firefighter."
Lieutenant Bell, who has been a professional fire fighter since 1986 and lives in Seattle, WA with wife Tina and our 2 children, Michelle and Jason, said the website was created to help guide and encourage young people toward embracing the challenging but wonderful career of fire fighting.
In his most recent post, "How To Become A Firefighter Part 1: Make sure you're up for it!" Lieutenant Bell noted how many kids are dreaming to become a firefighter riding in wonderful red trucks to rescue helpless victims and that's a glorious thing.
However, he noted that it isn't a career for everyone, and therefore, before embarking in the tedious fireman journey, he pointed out some questions one should ask himself.
One of those questions, he said, was "Do I have the right age to become a firefighter?"
His answer: "In order to begin your firefighter training, you must be at least 18 years old. Some training programs allow 17 years old, some limit the age of the applicants to 29! Check the requirements to become a firefighter in your state/town".
