Former Rock Tennessee Converting Facility

Arthur P. Barry III, SIOR with Coldwell Banker Commercial Eberhardt & Barry, Inc. of Macon, Georgia, finalized the sale of the former Rock-Tenn Converting facility to Gilmer Warehouse & Logistics from Perry, Georgia.

Macon, GA (prHWY.com) November 18, 2011 - Arthur P. Barry III, SIOR with Coldwell Banker Commercial Eberhardt & Barry, Inc. of Macon, Georgia, finalized the industrial real estate sale of the former Rock-Tenn Converting facility to Gilmer Warehouse & Logistics from Perry, Georgia.

Built in 1965, Rock Tenn closed operations in 2010 where it operated a corrugated tubing manufacturing facility that once employed over 150 people. The property contains an 88,000 square foot industrial facility on 6.4 acres in the Airport Industrial Park, Macon, Bibb County, Georgia.

The new owners, Gilmer Warehousing, will utilize the newly acquired property as a flex space facility for specialty warehousing services. The Gilmer Company will begin warehouse leasing in December, 2011.
