PopRock Soul Diva Shawna Singer has launched her new website and YouTube Channel!

Paris-Las Vegas-LA-NYC, NV (prHWY.com) November 23, 2011 - California-born vocal beauty Shawna realized her gift for singing at the tender age of 4. Two years later, seeing Whitney Houston perform on television further inspired her. As she stared into the silver screen, Shawna knew it for sure: her idol was inviting her to sing, not only then, but forever. Shawna made it her goal to become her generation's Whitney Houston and with a voice like hers, that goal is well on its way to being met.

While attending a performing arts high school, Shawna began to fall in love with classical music and learned how to use her voice in a way she had never dreamed of. Classical vocal training not only gave her the chance to express herself in another realm of music, but it also helped her foster her performance as a popular vocalist.

Shawna followed this training by studying vocals at Pepperdine University and traveling abroad to Europe and South America to study other languages, which heightened her ability to use singing as a means to communicate across cultural boundaries. Her journey to reach people through her voice will never cease.

When listening to Shawna, you'll hear influences from her classical training and from her passion for pop artists like Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, and Mariah Carey.
