Up For An Adventure? Why Not Climb One Of The Seven Summits?
"With Kilimanjaro still one of mountaineering's most coveted goals here's a more budget-friendly way of doing it to ensure you are successful and have that once in a lifetime experience. "

What: Climb Kilimanjaro with a company that's passionate about climbing and adventures in the outdoors.
Who with: Private Kilimanjaro - Everything we do at Private Kilimanjaro is focussed on helping our climbers summit safely. We control every aspect of your climb to give you the very best chance of reaching Uhuru Peak. What allows us to do this, and what differentiates us from nearly all the other companies offering Kilimanjaro climbs, is that we actually operate our own climbs. We never sub-contract your safety and enjoyment to someone else. If you book with us, you climb with us!
When: Private Kilimanjaro operates all year round, even during the long and short rains we run private climbs successfully when it's much quieter on the mountain.
How much: From £1145, including all park fees, pre and post climb accommodation, airport transfers from Kilimanjaro Airport to Moshi and all food while on the mountain, and a 'Pre-Climb Call' where they can arrange a time to chat through your plans and run through any questions you may have.
Why it's awesome:
"We really know and understand Kilimanjaro and what people might want from their time in Tanzania," says Private Kilimanjaro's Paul Deakin. "I went on my first hiking trip when I was fourteen and I have been an addict ever since. Kilimanjaro though is really special: a fantastic mountain, an amazing country and the most wonderful people".
At the heart of what we do is responding to what people really want. Clients don't just summit Kilimanjaro safely, they have a really great time and this is why!
"We know Kilimanjaro: many agents sell climbs on Kilimanjaro, but very few have ever spent any time on the mountain or really understand what mountaineering is about and how addictive it can be! We are tour operators not travel agents: lots of factors contribute to our high success rate when clients climb Mount Kilimanjaro but as we said above the key is that we operate our own climbs and control every detail.
"Flexibility: we don't insist on a climb start date for private climbs, we're happy that you take your adventure when you want, not when we say you have to! Private climbs are our speciality and are your own personal adventure: you climb Kilimanjaro in your own group, choose exactly when you want to start, choose the route you want and we provide the team to support you every step of the way. Perfect for groups of friends and charity groups climbing together.
"Brilliantly well equipped: as we use the equipment ourselves a lot, we know what you need, so we have tried to think of everything to make your life easier and more comfortable while you are on the mountain. But you do need to remember that you are still on the highest mountains in Africa and comfort is not quite what you'd experience wrapped up at home, but then again you wouldn't be there if that was on the top of your priority list.
"More Sensible Costs: we operate our own climbs and are fully bonded and insured member of ABTA giving you 100% financial protection and peace of mind when booking your Kilimanjaro climb.
"Free planning calls to help you get the best out of your adventure: we're the only Kilimanjaro climb company in England who offer free 'Pre-Climb Call' where we arrange a time to chat through your plans and give you some advice.
"Responsible Tourism: The importance of your Kilimanjaro crew cannot be underestimated. A quality guide and porters will make for a wonderful time on the mountain, while a mediocre staff can put your life in danger. We comply with all the guidelines of the Kilimanjaro Porter Assistance Project (KPAP) whose objectives include equipping porters with the appropriate mountain climbing gear, offering educational opportunities to motivate and empower porters, raising public awareness of proper treatment of porters, and providing clients with the fundamental information necessary to choose a socially responsible climbing company.
