Indian Security Industry to receive a tremendous boost from IFSEC India 2011
HIGHLIGHTS of IFSEC India 2011 * India's Largest Exhibition for Commercial & Homeland Security. * Supported by UK Trade & Investments & APSA- Asian professional Security Association * Certified by US Commercial Services

The recent spate of incidents involving repetitive terrorist attacks across various cities has pushed India into the limelight on account of its lack in tackling the security lapses. This lapse has been noted not just in defence related aspects but in home and civilian regions as well. With the constantly growing threat of terrorism gaining new levels, it has become very important to put into place mechanisms involving technology, human & intellingence based applications that will provide a all round sense of protection and security.
IFSEC India 2011 is organized by UBM India. A strong international network and an extensive domestic and international database has enabled IFSEC India to reach out to the global homeland & commercial security industry which also has helped to bring awareness about the potential of the local security industry as a buyer and a supplier to the world.
Nigel Luke Brown, Director Exhibition said: "This year again as always we are getting very positive responses from the industry and I am very excited with the way the industry is reacting towards the event. Even with choices available to exhibitors, they still consider IFSEC as the safest marketing tool and invest most of their budget with us."
IFSEC India 2011 is aimed at bringing together under one roof the security experts from various industries including financial services, infrastructure, public safety, law enforcement retail, realty and hospitality - all searching for the latest products and services in the security market.
Also part of the roll out plan are a set of mini press conferences which will be held in slect cities such as Indore, Raipur, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Banagalore, Mumbai, Pune & Delhi to create an awareness of the concept of security and the exhibiton as well. Already, the upcoming show is has received a very powerful response from the industry with over 250 exhibitors who have already confirmed & a visitor pre-registration figure crossing 3000 people.
This year IFSEC India in partnership with ASSOCHAM will feature the Homeland Security India Conference titled "War against terror- A challenge to our Homeland Security". The Homeland Security India Conference 2011 is a vital event for all homeland and commercial security professionals in both the public and private sector in India. The Conference shall focus on the advice, solutions and systems required for vigilance and security. Speakers shall include representatives from both the Central and State Governments.
