Motorhome Defenderâ„¢ provides a geo-fence, protecting the motorhome - this will send an alert if the van is moved outside the set perimeter. There are two 'intelligent' self-levelling tilt-sensors which detect any movement along or across the vehicle. The habitation door will have a wireless door contact which can also be fitted to other doors/lockers. Cab doors use the existing contacts. Even the vehicle battery is protected by a battery tamper, and a low battery, alert.

Our attention to detail is revealed when arming the system. Using either of the two supplied rolling-coded key fobs, the lights flash twice for ON and three for OFF - with no audible sound. Should you forget to set the alarm, and are away from your motorhome, a single call to the Monitoring Centre arms it for you. Once inside, you are protected further by the wireless PIR detector which incorporates a lock-out feature to prevent continuous false alarms. A night/pet setting allows you to sleep or leave a pet inside the motorhome with the system armed.

Should the thief manage to gain access, the UK Monitoring Centre team will contact you and follow strict procedures to recover the vehicle if it is moved. Motorhome Defenderâ„¢ is monitored 24-hours, 365 days a year, and is tracked to provide precise location immediately the motorhome alarm is triggered. Information on which sensor has been activated is also given.

If the thief locates the 'black box' or disables the system, the vehicle will not start. However, if the thief has stolen your keys and drives away, the Monitoring Centre will track the vehicle's every movement, using Motorhome Defender™ roaming sim card which provides excellent tracking coverage throughout Europe and in the UK. At this stage Motorhome Defender™ pièce de résistance comes into play. The remote access facility will allow the Monitoring Centre to stop the vehicle's engine using the 'Safe Stop™' feature. This will prevent the motorhome from being driven any further. It can also control the alarm.
