The HNA song contest is currently seeking submissions in various genres of music categories including: hip-hop, R&B, holy hip-hop, gospel, country, rock, pop, metal, jazz, inspirational, alternative, comedic, and many more.

Here's where it gets to be fun, entries will be played on air on the Hottest New Artist radio show which airs Thursday nights at 8pm on 1340WHAP.com and or 1340AM on your radio dial. Callers can only vote on songs during the show Thursdays between 8-9p.m., at (804) 458-9427.

HNA hosted the song contest last year; the new feature for this round is titled "Get The Deal Now! What's great about this round is HNA Radio Show and song competition re-opens Thursday, October 25 with Get The Deal Now!

For a limited time period, your song could be included on the current production release for early 2011. In order for you to be part of this round, your status will be based on listener call in, DJs and PDS Entertainment staff determines if your song is too hot to wait. Singers please take note, contracts will be sent immediately to you and you must sign and return them within one week (7 days), otherwise you remain in competition until the existing deadline. By the way, the three compilations in production are Urban, Pop/country and Contemporary Christian.

Prize information you need to know, it's important to remember the HNA Radio Show and National Song Competition begins October 25, 2010. Here's what you should know: 1st, 2nd, 3rd place wins cash Top finalist prizes and all are offered recording, publishing, promotion with a spot on HNA, CD (over $1,000 in cash and prizes to be awarded.) All 40 finalists will receive prizes that will be posted on the HNA website as their sponsors and partners are announced.

Entry guidelines read as follows and each entry requires the following elements:

* One to four original songs 3 to 5 minutes
* Completed entry at HNA or Sonicbids website
* Read the Rules & Regulations before entering

The Hottest New Artist show broadcasts to 80,800 listeners in the metropolitan Richmond, VA area and on the internet. All songs are judged by industry professionals, radio show listeners and callers, internet polls, and event attendees (based on live video performances.) Submissions will be screened on production quality, originality, song writing and the overall impact and radio readiness. Please be aware, artist must edit out explicit lyrics, no remixes or samples please.

Last but certainly not least, the three phase song battle is for emerging artist to submit original songs for the chance to become PDS Entertainment LLC (ASCAP) Top Artists. So without further ado, in order to Get The Deal Now, HNA is in 3 Phases:

Phase 1- 40 semi-finalists will be selected by virtue of their song and move on to the next phase.

Phase II- Artist perform at Meeting of Artist (in person or by video) don't forget to visit the website to read the rules.

Phase III - Upwards of 20 Top artists receive publishing contracts, placement on Urban, Country/Pop or Contemporary Christian CDs that will be promoted and distributed worldwide with artist being paid royalties.
