Seattle, WA (prHWY.com) December 15, 2011 - Trips to the spa are about seeking refuge from the hustle and bustle of everyday living. The dimmed lights, soothing music and relaxing treatments are enough to encourage guests to sit back and rest after a strenuous workweek but a Florida luxury spa takes relaxation to a whole new level by offering caviar facial cleanser treatments.

"We discovered that caviar made a great facial cleanser after my friends and I were experimenting with facial treatments at a slumber party last year", said Molly Mitchell co-founder of The White Pines Spa where the caviar treatment is available to guests. "I don't know what possessed us to use caviar but it turned out to work perfectly and my skin has never been softer."

Caviar is a culinary delicacy that is traditionally used in lavish appetizers and entrees found on the menu of fine dining establishments all over the world but at The White Pines Spa the caviar is used to cleanse and pamper the skin. Mixing the caviar with a top-secret formula a facial cleanser is made that can be applied directly to the face, arms and legs. The cleanser cleans, exfoliates and moisturizes leaving the skin soft for weeks after the caviar treatment.

"I have been coming to The White Pines Spa for a number of years. It's my ultimate go-to place for rest and relaxation after my stressful job", said Laurie Fisher, a ten year client of the spa. "I was a little freaked out by the thought of caviar being applied to my face but I'll try anything once and boy let me tell you my skin was as soft as a baby's bottom after the treatment."

The caviar facial treatment costs around $65 per treatment and for an extra $30 guests can choose to receive a back, neck or leg massage while waiting for the facial cleanser to dry on the face. The White Pines Spa is the only spa in the state of Florida to offer this unique facial cleansing treatment.

"So many guests have been coming to our spa from out of state and even internationally that we are considering expanding into a resort and spa where people can spend the night while getting pampered", Mitchell explained.

Until the resort becomes a reality, Mitchell and her other co-founders of The White Pines Spa are in talks with local bed and breakfasts to provide a relaxing environment where guests from all over the world can enjoy this rare facial cleanser.
