This movie has a brand new team assembled by Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) who enlists the help of new recruits including Simon Pegg and Paula Patton. Their mission is to clear the IMF's name after it is blamed for a global bombing plot. During this mission, Ethan Hunt and his team which is later joined by Jeremy Renner, are racing against time to track down a dangerous terrorist named Hendricks, who has gained access to Russian nuclear launch codes and is planning a strike on the United States. Since the organization goes into shutdown, they're forced undercover with no help, no contact and no limits in their toughest assignment ever.
