Alston & Bird Expands Corporate Practice in California
25-Year Veteran Lior Nuchi Joins Silicon Valley Office as Partner

Silicon Valley, California, January 9, 2012 - Alston & Bird LLP today announced the expansion of its corporate practice in California with the addition of Lior Nuchi as a partner in the firm's Silicon Valley office. Mr. Nuchi joins Alston & Bird's Corporate Transactions & Securities Group, where he will build on the firm's historic strength in its capital markets, securities, and mergers & acquisitions practices.

Mr. Nuchi has 25 years of experience practicing law in Silicon Valley, representing public companies, investment banks and investors, as well as traditional technology and life sciences companies. He has handled more than 100 public and private company acquisitions, strategic alliances and financings ranging in size from several billion dollars to start-up transactions.

Since the early 1990s, Mr. Nuchi has participated in many of the most important transactions that have created the commercial Internet and has been engaged in cutting-edge transactions bringing video and other broadband services to the Internet, as well as working in the wireless industry. In addition to his traditional capital markets and M&A practice, Mr. Nuchi has considerable experience in international transactions. Over the course of his career, he has practiced in Tokyo, Hong Kong and Israel. He participated in the formation of many of the key venture capital funds in Israel and represented these funds in portfolio company investments and in connection with exit transactions. In the last 15 years, Mr. Nuchi has worked on many of the foremost transactions involving Israeli information technology, Internet and life science companies.
Mr. Nuchi is a graduate of Columbia University and the NYU School of Law.
