The New York Rock Academy Open it's Doors for the 2012 Summer Camp Sessions

The New York Rock Academy is ready to roll for the 2012 Summer Sessions. Whether you are looking to start your first band, or refine your musical skills, the New York Rock Academy will help you reach your goals this summer.

Chappaqua, NY (prHWY.com) January 10, 2012 - New York Rock Academy is a specialty program designed to maximize the potential of every student.

Students will form groups alongside those of similar experience and immediately begin making music. Beginners will find themselves performing complete arrangements of their favorite songs by the end of a single session. Advanced players will have the opportunity to fine tune their skills - learning subtle and not-so-subtle lessons about instrumental or vocal technique and the organization of a rock ensemble.

Formerly known as Chappaqua Rocks, The New York Rock Academy provides every student with a unique, multi-faceted experience. Our students not only gain a strong music education but also learn valuable life skills in the process. Confidence, teamwork, and the concept of hard work to achieve goals are all qualities gained by the New York Rock Academy student. In addition, New York Rock Academy has an exciting social atmosphere that supports its students. Band mates become friends and students form trusting relationships with their instructors.

The motivating force at New York Rock Academy is excitement. Regardless of level, students will be encouraged to explore the music that they truly love. The experienced faculty will help to break down the imaginary barrier between the students and the 'stars', giving concrete advice on how to effectively play and interpret rock songs. Anything that stands in the way of a moving performance will be addressed and remedied to allow the students to communicate the love and excitement that they feel to an audience.
