Warner Brothers recording artist, XV to begin Midwest State of Mind Tour on January 21st.

Los Angeles, CA (prHWY.com) January 10, 2012 - Make sure to catch Warner Bros. recording artist XV when his first headline tour of 2012 begins in the Midwest. The Midwest State of Mind tour will be stopping in 13 cities, due to the increasing buzz around his hometown of Wichita, KS.

Kicking off at the University of Kansas, XV's opening acts will include local artists from each city, giving them an opportunity to showcase their talents on the big stage.

Having toured with the likes of Chiddy Bang, Far East Movement, Kid CuDi, Mike Posner and Travie McCoy, this 26-year-old lyricist is ready to grant access to his own unparalleled journey. With his upcoming debut album being executive produced by super-producer, Just Blaze to be released later this year, The Kid With the Green Backpack, XV's fans will hear him further tell his story--the nobody begging to become a somebody. Awesome EP will be released January 31st.

With 3 critically acclaimed mixtapes under his belt, and one independent studio album released in 2006, XV's credibility is visible through his extensive catalog. His single, "Awesome" was recently licensed by Verizon Wireless for use in their HTC Rezound commercial.
