Copenhagen, Denmark (prHWY.com) January 18, 2012 - Copenhagen, Denmark - Rainbow Riders recently released their photo and video application called Snap-A-Note in the Apple App Store. This simple application, which is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, allows users to take a photo of an item or a task and send the image they took directly to their inbox or store it in their device's camera roll. However, more than just a photography tool, the developer behind the said application insists that it can also be useful in improving a person's ability to remember things or tasks.

"Snap-A-Note is a pretty straightforward application that is very easy to use" said one of the application's developer. "But, its main draw is that it is somewhat adherent to the theory of Picture Superiority Effect (PSE), which demonstrates that pictures are better remembered compared to words. For instance, you saw a wine while doing your grocery and you are thinking of purchasing that wine in the future. What you can do is use Snap-A-Note to take a photo of the wine's label and send the image right in your inbox so that when you see it, you will be reminded that you need to purchase the said item. In this scenario, PSE comes into play in such a way that the user can utilize the image as a reference, which he or she can access easily via email, to remind himself or herself of the task that needs to be done. It's a great application to keep snippets of information in the form of photos" he added.

Snap-A-Note can be downloaded in the Apple Store free of charge. The link below provides more information about Snap-A-Note and where users can directly download the said application.
