The Shayler Foundation is raising funds and awareness for our Safe Birthing Project aimed at improving maternal health in Uganda. The gala will include music, cocktails and food.

London, United Kingdom (prHWY.com) February 1, 2012 - Our Light: Voices of Women art exhibit is taking place on 17 March 2012 in London, it is being held in celebration of women's human rights and motherhood. The event will benefit The Shayler Foundation's Uganda: Survivor's Initiative Programme.

"I am organizing this art exhibit in an effort to raise needed funds for Uganda: Survivor's Initiative's Safe Birthing Project. The mission to help women in developing countries prevent avoidable medical complications during pregnancy, and aid with the delivery of a healthy baby goes a long way to set both mother and baby on a healthier path.
