RWC Is Focusing on System Improvements Now; Contests Later On

ResearchWritingCenter.com is emphasizing internal system improvements right now, and postponing contests until after the high season. Our users will benefit!

Sheffield, United Kingdom (prHWY.com) February 9, 2012 - The staff here at the ResearchWritingCenter.com enjoys contests and promotions as much as our website users. Right now, however, we are focusing on making our system and interface the best it can be. Thus, for the next several months, we are not planning any such promotions, to allow us to channel al our energies into creating an enhanced user experience for our writers and for our customers. However, fun stuff is in the offing once the high season winds down.

The RWC staff had fun with our recent contest. We loved hearing from so many of our site users, including some 'newbies' to writing for public consumption. We enjoyed reading all the submissions, revelatory of the varied backgrounds of our freelancers, their passion for writing, and their wry view of life.

We know that our users enjoyed that contest - even those who participated only by reading and voting! How do we know this? We are already getting regular inquiries about the next one!
Of course, we would like to oblige.

However, at this time of year, with the heaviest season coming up, our primary focus needs to be on the smooth and efficient functioning of our system. We are always trying to improve the way our user interface works. After all, we need to communicate with our writers and customers as fast, as accurately, as reliably, and as securely as possible.

This task involves more than just our Information Technology wizards. All of the staff is involved in designing, testing, and implementing the internal system updates and enhancements that we have in mind. We need to be sure that when we implement a new feature, or change the way a particular aspect of our message board functions, it is going to work correctly, first time and every time. This takes everyone's efforts, and leaves us little time for organizing something as labor intensive as a writing competition.

However, once high season winds down, we can revisit user promotions and contests; we like how they draw our users together into one online freelancing community. That is what we are aiming for! We will have some new ideas and be looking for as wide participation as possible from all the writers who visit our site.

Meanwhile, we hope that everyone will enjoy the constantly evolving user experience that we are working to create!
