Dubbed as "Amici's Cupid is turning Stupid", fans on the Facebook page were asked to share ideas on how they would want to surprise their Valentine. Going with the name of the contest, the ideas had to be "silly and cute".
The activity is an appropriate example how businesses today have made social media a preferred means of engaging the consumer considering platforms like Facebook is the most dynamic way of interacting directly with the consumers.
Consumers too, believe this is a smarter and easier way to acquire information about a brand and giving their feedback freely. Contests and promotions add to the experience.
