The vintage footage, shot in both black & white and color, documents several eras in American history. A video clip depicting the head-on collision between two locomotives was produced in the Silent Movie Era (1913). Another entitled "Troop Train," traces the journey of soldiers crossing America by rail during World War II. Others offer a fascinating glimpse inside major railroad company operations in the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s.
