RWC's Voicemail System Makeover Gives Writers Faster Help Access
RWC is prepping for high season with a voicemail system revamp. Writers and applicants' calls will be routed separately for quicker access to support staff

They're here! Papers, exams, projects, proposals; they are all coming due, and our customers need help. As the volume of orders increases, the number of calls to our Support Department increases as well.
The problems and questions range all over the map. They can include resource issues, clarification of order instructions, or simple courtesy on the part of writers in letting us know when they have encountered a technical obstacle.
At the moment, all calls from current and prospective writers come into the system the same way. This means that our operators must deal with both simultaneously. Unfortunately, this sometimes results in delays. A writer may find that they can only leave a message, and this is frustrating and counterproductive in some instances.
In order to make this system far more efficient, we are redesigning our phone answering protocol. The aim is to allow operators to address these two very different types of calls separately. The new voice mail arrangement will split registered writers from those inquiring about becoming registered writers in the future.
Although the update is not completed, and we therefore cannot be certain how it will present itself to users, in detail, we are working on this energetically. This updated system for incoming calls is intended to allow for some other features for our users. Our writers will be able to either leave a message or wait for the friendly operator, which is not always available at this point.
All this effort is meant to make the experience of custom writing with RWC more pleasant and efficient. The more swiftly we can resolve anything that delays our writers, the better we can serve our customers. They are our reason for existing, so anything that speeds work along is a great goal.
Happily, we expect that these improvements to the voice mail system will be ready to roll out very soon. Our writers and fans of our website can look forward hearing about this terrific addition to our capabilities as soon as implementation approaches.
