Successfully implemented Panda Board 10 Inch LCD Integration with Touch screen capability with HD / 720p resolution

Singapore, Singapore (prHWY.com) March 11, 2012 - This solution provides integration of 10″ TFT LCD Screen with a resistive touch screen running Android by proving PCB extension to Pandaboard. The target operating system is Android 2.3 using the TI Android GingerBread 2.3 DevKit Source.
For this solution, PCB extension board is built and connected to two LCD headers on the bottom of PandaBoard that provides simple interface to LVDS LCD panel. There is support for LCD brightness and High definition video playback with resolution 1366�--768. A plastic(ABS) frame is designed to contain the screen and touch for easy mounting.
Also for Touch screen functionality, calibration has been done in kernel and also using TSLIB integrated to Android Gingerbread for calibration at framework.
