World Association for Small and Medium Enterprises (WASME) signs MoU with Metropolitan Consultancy, Egypt
WASME is an international body, working for the promotion of SMEs with worldwide presence. It has got consultative status with agencies in the UN System and actively works with several intergovernmental agencies
WASME has entered into a memorandum of understanding with Metropolitan Consultancy (SAE), Egypt. The MoU was signed when Dr. Khaled Nagaty, CEO of Metropolitan Consultancy, visited WASME headquarter recently in February this year. He holds extensive consultations with WASME officials at its secretariat based in Film City, Sector 16 A, Noida, UP, India.
WASME and Metropolitan Consultancy would strive towards the promotion of SME sector in Middle East and North African (MENA) region. Metropolitan Consultancy would represent WASME in MENA. They would also jointly organize seminars, conferences, and workshops in the region. An international conference would be organized every year in Cairo, Egypt as well as in other major cities in the MENA region. For Metropolitan Consultancy, Dr. Nagaty, CEO signed the MoU, while for WASME, its Secretary General, Mr. Gyan Prakash Agarwal. Dr. Khaled Nagaty is also the Chairman of Egyptian SME Association and Chairman, Egyptian Credit and Risk Association. Dr. Nagaty also delivered a lecture on Egypt in Post January 25 Revolutionary Era SME Business Climate on 25 February at WASME Conference room.
