Claire's Accessories Accused of Copying Designer's Jewellery Range
An online jeweller has accused high street accessories shop Claire's Accessories of copying their necklace designs.
Known for their oversized pendants and somewhat different jewellery designs, Tatty Devine has recently encountered some problems with discount jewellery chain Claire's Accessories.
In a blog post on their site, they posted a number of images of their own branded jewellery next to images of the jewellery that was being sold in the Claire's Accessories shops and they are strikingly similar. Tatty Devine claim that the Claire's Accessories designs have been copied directly from their online store.
The owners of Tatty Devine have reportedly spoken to their lawyers in a hope that the retailer will withdraw the pieces from their range. Not only does this damage the reputation that Tatty Devine has managed to build up for themselves over the years but it also tarnishes Claire's Accessories image.
