Scottsdale, AZ (prHWY.com) March 21, 2012 - SCOTTSDALE, AZ (March 21, 2012) -- Harvest Bible Chapel North Phoenix (HBCNP) is continuing to grow, leading now to the creation of a new weekly Saturday (5:00pm) worship service beginning on March 31st which is being uniquely structured as a new church plant of HBCNP within the walls of the same church building.

"By using the approach of a church plant, a greater number of those currently attending [HBCNP] will be committing to attend this new service and volunteer for various ministries." said Bill Borinstein, senior pastor of HBCNP. "Typically, when a new church begins, it survives the growing pains when members of the congregation step-up and take ownership of what is being started. This happens by volunteering and ministering to others in the church in the areas where they feel led to serve."

Some of those areas of ministry include: prayer ministry, children's ministry, greeters, ushers, hospitality, and worship.

"The new service meets an immediate need in our multiple communities of Scottsdale, Paradise Valley and North Phoenix," continued Borinstein. "Not only will it provide more space for new folks on Sunday mornings, but many people in the Phoenix Valley need to work, or are otherwise unavailable, on Sunday mornings, so their ability to find an alternative worship service each weekend is limited. This additional service day and time makes attending church a more accessible weekly option."

HBCNP's address is: 4848 E. Cactus Rd. #700 Scottsdale, AZ 85254. The church is located in the building just north of The Olive Garden at the intersection of Cactus Rd. & North Paradise Village Parkway East, and is accessible by turning north on N. Paradise Village Pkwy E.

The Harvest Compassion Center (HCC) is also located on the south side of the church building. HCC is a local food bank and clothes closet serving the community in partnership with Mitchell Swaback Charities and HBCNP. Visitors are invited to come and see how HCC can meet their needs on Mondays from 9am to noon and 5pm to 8pm, and Wednesday mornings from 9am to noon.
