Businesses that create economic vitality in the community by providing as many jobs and other opportunities or promote new industries are given the Economic Driver Award while Entrepreneurial Excellence is given to businesses typifying the spirit of entrepreneurialism. Completing the different categories is the Response to Adversity award which honors a business that is able to overcome vital challenges and rebound into a stronger and more sustainable company.
"Business success in not just about figures and earning big," Abrams emphasized in the interview. "It is also about having an impact in the economy, community and most importantly, in the lives of your employees. This is what we always emphasize to our members."
As what one of its members said, "As a business owner I am constantly seeking new ways to both increase awareness of my business throughout the community and learn how to better manage and grow my business... I have been a Redwood member since 2011 and thoroughly enjoy the group because it provides me a place to network with other business owners, learn from their experiences and mistakes, gain new business, and it serves as a small business advisory board for my company (the most valuable aspect of all). I would highly recommend The Redwood Alliance to any business owner who shares my goals." The organization receives positive feedbacks from all its members.
The Redwood Alliance is an excellent avenue where business owners can share notes on how to better improve their businesses.
