Kids in Westchester County Have a Place to Rock Out this Summer at the New York Rock Academy

The New York Rock Academy's unique teaching system will get your kids up and running on the instrument of their choice in about a week. Depending on the learning style of our students, we tailor our instructions to suit each individual best.

White Plains, NY (prHWY.com) March 27, 2012 - If joining the soccer, football, or baseball team isn't necessarily what your child is into, then sending them to a traditional day camp may not be the best option for them this summer. The New York Rock Academy in White Plains, NY teaches the value of teamwork by helping your child start their first band! At the beginning of every week long session, each student is paired up with like minded individuals of similar ages and musical tastes. From there, a song is chosen and a band is born!

Over the course of a week, New York Rock Academy instructors help with basic chord progression all the way through stage presence and a live performance. The more experienced musicians will be able to fine tune their techniques and add the subtle nuances that make a musical performance really special.
