Mercy in Action is committed to seeing those who have been abandoned, neglected, abused and forgotten, helped to find meaning and purpose in life. By focusing on education, shelter, friendship and encouragement, they will be set free to live lives that fully express all that they were truly intended to be.

Mercy in Action is a UK registered charity that was founded in 1995. Working amidst some of the poorest communities in the Philippines, they are committed to rescuing vulnerable children from the dangers of the streets by offering them food, nurture and an education.

Their work has grown to encompass projects which are vital for whole communities, such as house building, small business enterprises and schooling and feeding programmes.

Mercy in Action Trustee Tim Jones approached NuBlue for a new website and the team were so moved by the stories they heard and the work that was being done it was impossible to say no! In fact, NuBlue bought into the Mercy In Action mission so much, they did it for free!

Mr Jones commented: "I'm delighted with this partnership, NuBlue have taken time to understand what we do and created a superb web site that in just a few months has significantly raised awareness of the charity."

The new WordPress powered website has now gone live with an incredible range of images from the various projects, a blog with some really moving real life accounts; and plenty of ideas for how the public can get involved.

NuBlue are providing ongoing support to Mercy in Action by managing the new website and providing web hosting and email services to the charity. NuBlue will be supporting Mercy in Action as one of their chosen charities at various events throughout the year, kicking off with a half marathon by Hosting Manager Ewan MacLeod.
