Aliens Consulted to Help Treat Acne on Earth

Seattle, WA (prHWY.com) March 28, 2012 - Acne is a condition that causes pain and stress, and frustrates teens, and many adults. While there are hundreds, if not thousands of products that claim to offer the secret acne cure, very few of these products actually does exactly as it is supposed to, and cures or treats the acne. This lack of treatment is exactly why local dermatologists are collaborating to find the perfect cure.

"Most of our patients come to us in an effort to reduce acne flare-ups", said one of the dermatologists on the team, Dr. Hannigan. "They are trying every cream, potion, lotion and soap out there designed to treat acne and it just isn't working. I thought I would try to help them."

Dr. Hannigan teamed up with local dermatologist Dr. Freedman in the search for an acne treatment. However, the search doesn't start where most people would think it would start.

"People assume the search for acne treatment would start in the laboratory or in our offices", said Dr. Freedman. "It doesn't. We're taking this intergalactic and searching for space aliens to help us."

The two dermatologists have developed an ultra-complex satellite system that allows them to communicate with what is assumed to be life on another planet. The other planet sends back sounds and vibrations, that Dr. Hannigan records while Dr. Freedman works to interpret them.

"We sent out a signal that asked how the people from their planet have such nice, smooth skin", said Dr. Freedman. "I mean have you ever seen an alien or person from another planet with acne? I haven't. They have to know something."

Dr. Freedman and Dr. Hannigan have over 100 hours of sounds and vibrations recorded onto a tape. The tapes are sent to a local group that has spent years studying and interrupting sounds from other planets.

"It's not a question of if there is life on another planet", said Joseph Jonda. "It's a matter of what they are trying to say, how they say it, and getting their communication sorted out from the millions of other sounds that can be recorded from space."

Dr. Freedman and Dr. Hannigan estimate that it could take anywhere from four to six years before an acne treatment is discovered. The first few ingredients have been discovered, but the mystery lies in the other ingredients.

"We got some ingredients that the aliens commonly used for acne treatments", said Dr. Freedman. "The problem is some of the stuff they use might not be available or called the same thing. The good news is we're only a few hop, skips and jumps away from getting a cure. All thanks to the aliens."
