Seattle, WA (prHWY.com) March 28, 2012 - Local Seattle residents awoke to a bizarre and puzzling sight. Cars had hundreds of flyers placed under the windshield wipers, front doors had dozens of flyers stuck inside, blank billboards had a new sign on them, and mysterious radio commercials started to appear - all of which proclaimed "If you want to be at the top, you gotta fight for it."

"I didn't know what to think at first", said local Beacon Hill resident Annie Mae. "A part of me was curious what the flyers were for, while another part was angry that I had to clean up my car before I could leave for work."

Residents who thought they could get away from the flyers by tossing them in the trash or nearest recycling bin were in for a surprise. The flyers were spread from as far south as Tacoma, all the way up to Mount Vernon. Everywhere people went there were flyers, and then the radio and TV ads started.

"I thought I was clear of this silly nonsense," said Lynnwood resident Meghan Sanchez. "I tossed the flyers in the trash and went to my job in Everett. Boy was I surprised when my office was plastered with the flyers, and then the silly TV ads singing "You gotta be the best to beat the best" started, and I just wanted to scream."

On each flyer, radio and TV ad, ended by instructing people to go to a website. The website contained a tiny video game that allowed people to battle their way to the top of Google's search rankings.

"We thought this would be a new way to generate interest in SEO content, SEO techniques, and the importance of being on top of Google's rankings," said Terri Holly, co-found of Seattle SEO company, Be the Best. "Not many people know what SEO is or why it is important. This little mysterious just generated an interest in something that could help businesses."

The flyers and TV ads have generated a massive public interest. The video game website set up by Be the Best had over 1.5 million views in just the first two days of the flyers being distributed.

"I didn't know what SEO was till I visited this website and played the little game," said local boutique owner, Sally Frieda. "I really think it could be helpful to my business, and I have to admit the unique marketing concept devised by Greg really made me want to work with him."
