Student-involvement activities enhance mental abilities

NBA Group of Institutions knows well how to improve ability in students. Hence various student-involvement activities are held in the college campus that helps them to clutch theories better. Recently in the campus some of the most interesting activities were held which enhanced knowledge stock of students and helped them to be spontaneous. Inter class quiz, Guest Lectures and Extempore competition were held in the college premises.

Recently, assembly elections were held in 5 states of the country. It was the most sensational topic in the news, thus, NBA Group of Institutions planned to use this topic to involve students in a quiz competition. The core aim of the quiz was to make students aware of the latest news and cultivate interest in the current affairs of the country. On 16th March 2012, the competition was held in which the students of BMC and BBA took part. This quiz helped the students as they had studied the topic.

A guest lecture is a very good way to provide current, realistic expertise on a decisive topic. It also provides the insight knowledge of the domain to the students. At NBA, leaders of the domain are invited to share their experience with students so that they can enhance their comprehension of their industry. On 19th March 2012, Sr. Production Manager of Sahara Samay, Mr. Girijesh Kumar, was invited to explain students of Mass Communication about the Basics of Music. The session was highly useful for the students as they were able to understand the importance of music in TV Production.

In Extempore competition, students are provided with a topic on the spot and they are supposed to speak on the topic for a particular period of time. This is a brain exercise which helps it to think faster and respond quickly. At NBA, all the batches of BMC & Management participated. The competition was held on 21st March 2012. On the day, students were highly excited. This activity instilled competitive spirit in students.

These sessions are always useful for the students to enhance their skills and mental abilities which make them prepared for the professional life. That is why NBA Group of Institutions conducts such sessions to make the students equipped for their fruitful career.
