Ahmedabad Mirror Cricket Cup Ends with victory of USP Tigers

Ahmedabad, India (prHWY.com) April 3, 2012 - March 23, 2012 Ahmedabad - The second edition of Ahmedabad Mirror Cricket Cup co-sponsored by the Unitedworld School of Business - a leading management institute in the city, came to an end on Thursday with the "roar of tigers".

This prestigious cricketing event in the city was marked by spectacular actions in the nail biting final match between SPIS (Sardar Patel Institute of Sports) and USP tigers, where the SIPS was defeated by USP tigers by 25 runs.

The final was marked by some impressive and breath-taking cricketing strokes by veteran and new comer cricketers. However, it was Parthiv Patel's game that took everyone present there by surprise; he took out some time from his busy schedule and played the final game which in fact turned out to be the masterstroke which led the USP tigers to the victory.

On the occasion of finals, the director of Unitedworld school of Business Mr. Ritesh Hada was present to cheer the playing teams. He was excited to see the match and also shared with us his experience of being a part of the most thrilling sporting event in the city. He also said that he would look forward for such organization next year too.

After winning the trophy, the Skipper of USP tigers Dilip Hadiyol also shared his thoughts and happiness; said that he, from the very beginning, had full confidence on his players. He further added that Patel's experience and directions helped the team to be victorious and articulated his gratitude to him. Moreover, he also said that he wishes to see more of such tournaments that can promote sports culture in the country.

Mr. Hada, director of Unitedworld school of Business who was present their, congratulated the winners and the players of the other team for showing great sportsman spirit. He also added that organization of such tournaments will encourage the next generation of players to participate and perform on the national level.

Moreover, both the captains acclaimed the efforts made by AM and Unitedworld school of Business for organization such tournaments and giving a platform to the young and emerging players to showcase their talents.

All in all, as promised and expected the tournament gave the sports enthusiasts in the city an opportunity to be a part of the one of the thrilling cricketing actions, before the much awaited and hyped IPL.
