Ray Sayeed

Ray Sayeed grew up in Frankfort, Illinois. He started his education at the prestigious private school, Morgan Park Academy in Chicago. After completing middle school at MPA, he transferred to Lincoln-Way East High School in Frankfort, closer to home.

Ferndale, WA 98248, FL (prHWY.com) April 4, 2012 - Ray Sayeed chooses to make a difference in the world by donating his time to various worthy causes. Sayeed received many well-deserved awards and letters of recognition for his work. For six years, beginning in 2003, Ray Sayeed ventured to India, where he assisted disadvantaged students at Crescent High School by encouraging them to reach their full potential. When Hurricane Katrina battered the Gulf of Mexico in 2005 and made landfall in Louisiana, Mississippi, and other coastal states, Ray Sayeed volunteered to help pack and ship clothing, supplies, and other essential items to the individuals affected by the disaster. Sayeed's efforts during the aftermath of one of the deadliest and costliest hurricanes in United States history earned him an award of recognition from American Charities. In 2008 and 2009, Ray Sayeed provided necessary instruction to underprivileged ESL students and their parents at SUFFAH Educational and Guidance Center in Chicago, Illinois. Also in 2009, Ray Sayeed helped raise funds for IMRC, a minority organization dedicated to wiping out poverty in India.

Among his other athletic endeavors, Ray Sayeed played on the junior varsity and varsity men's golf squad. In 2007, he earned a certificate of recognition for his outstanding performance at the Olympia Fields Country Club in Olympia Fields, approximately 11 miles east of Frankfort. Ray Sayeed turned to tennis in 2008, winning third place in the men's junior varsity state singles tournament. His interest in the sport continued in 2009 when he advanced to the men's varsity program. Beginning in 2008 and extending into 2009, Sayeed also participated in the men's basketball program. In addition to his enthusiasm for sports, Ray Sayeed utilized his talents as a musician to entertain audiences at numerous piano recitals from 1997 to 2006.

In 2010, Ray Sayeed enrolled at Loyola University Chicago, where he currently focuses his studies on pre-med and business.
