Haryana, India (prHWY.com) April 4, 2012 - A Robotics Workshop was held on 24th march 2012 in Samalkha Group of Institutions by Techtronics. The workshop was an initiative to enhance practical knowledge among the students and the faculty members. Robotics helps us to open our minds and enhance our creativity as it covers every branch of science and engineering -mechanical, electronics, computer science etc. This workshop was on the basics of robotics. The participants were taught how to build and operate simple manual robots during the course of the workshop. It was attended by our Embedded Research & Development Center members -Ms. Priyanka Sharma, Ms. Preetika Bhasin & Mr. Ashwani Dhiman(Head of ERDC ), also by other faculty members- Ms Ritu Pahal, Ms Priyanka Saluja, ,Mr. Anil Sharma, Mr. Ashish Dawar, Mr. Dinesh Jain, Mr. Gaurav Bhatia & by some students of our college- Varun ojha, Mohit Chhabra, Manu Dipesh ,Harmeet.

It was hands-on workshop where the participants were allowed to build the robots that they have learnt about on company kits of LEGO and PITSCO. Using the same kit we can build thousands of Robots.
