Cheshire Based Water Cooler Company Expands
The Thirst Alternative, owned by Cheshire based Christian Daniels, is expanding to offer water cooler maintenance.

Christian Daniels describes himself as a man on mission saying, "I am almost evangelical about the benefits of bringing water coolers into the workplace. Or come to that schools and hospitals and gyms. But only because it makes sound health sense. And what's good for people's health, is also good for the bottom line in one way or another".
The move into maintenance was a logical one for Mr Daniels. Any premises with water coolers in place will have a requirement for maintenance, sanitising and servicing. According to the European Point-of-use Drinking Water Association (EPDWA) bottled water coolers should be cleaned every quarter and mains fed coolers every six months.
Mr Daniels has made a point of ensuring that the Thirst Alternative is a fully paid up and audited member of the EPDWA. By investing in and training staff The Thirst Alternative's technicians are trained to be able to sanitise any mains fed water coolers and drinking fountains.
Mr Daniels says, 'By making sure your water coolers' filters are changed and sanitised on a regular basis, you're taking better care of your investment. To bring water coolers to the widest possible audience we can install and service coolers from as little as £5 per week. It's likely that there are water coolers in the North West who have never seen a technician! This means some coolers won't comply with the latest installation standards'.
Mr Daniels is aware that some organisations are lagging behind and haven't yet caught on to the advantages of installing water coolers. The Thirst Alternative is offering free site surveys and installation until June 2012.
