R4i SDHC 3DS card break DSi V1.4.4 system successfully

R4i SDHC Kernel updated to R4i V1.55b on April 1st. It is the latest software for R4i SDHC 3DS and r4i sdhc V1.4.3 card. New R4i SDHC V1.55 fixed the compatibility between DSi V1.4.4 system and R4i SDHC 3DS card.

R4i SDHC Kernel updated to R4i V1.55b on April 1st. It is the latest software for R4i SDHC 3DS and r4i sdhc V1.4.3 card. New R4i SDHC V1.55 fixed the compatibility between DSi V1.4.4 system and R4i SDHC 3DS card. How ever, the R4i SDHC V1.4.3 card still can't work on Nintendo DSi V1.4.4 console. Some new DS games are solved in the new R4i SDHC V1.55b firmware.

The R4i SDHC made by r4i-sdhc.com is same size as original DSi card. It is also called Red r4i card. Red R4i card and R4i Gold card on hotsale in 2010. The before verison R4i SDHC V1.4 only support DSi V1.4. It upgraded to V1.4.1 on sep 2010. By loading latest R4i SDHC kernel, The red R4i V1.4.1 card supports DSi V1.4.1, DS, DS Lite, DSi LL and DSi XL perfectly. New R4i SDHC 3DS card support Nintendo 3DS console.

How to upgrade R4i SDHC card for DSi V1.4.4 system
Nintendo upgrade DSi system to V1.4.4 in the end of March, and many flashcard are locked, even the R4i SDHC card. If you want to use the R4i SDHC 3DS card on NDSi V1.4.4, you need to do following upgrade process.
1. Download and install the latest R4i-3DS V1.55b kernel to the MicroSD card.
2. Put the R4i SDHC card with SD card into a DS Lite or 3DS or DSi (below V1.4.4 verstion) console.
3. Turn on the power of console, go r4 main menu.
4. Enter "setting" menu, and choose "upgrade", then click "start" button to start upgrade.
5. About 20 Seconds later, upgrade finish, and the r4i sdhc 3ds card can work on DSi V1.4.4 now.
