What Is Krav Maga: Krav Maga is a military-tailored martial art similar to MCMAP (Marine Corps Martial Arts Program) or the United States Army's combatives program. As a former United States Marine Corps Sergeant and an instructor of BJJ, Muay Thai, and Wrestling I am going to give you a few undisputable reasons why our martial arts styles are more effective than Krav Maga.

In Brief: Like any military martial arts program, such as MCMAP and the U.S. Army's Combatives, Krav Maga is a crash course in how to fight in very practical, high pressure situations. Moves from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, and Boxing (the core styles of MMA) are used in these military programs. However, military oriented programs are short, simplified, and limited in moves.
