3 day potty training: Is Potty Training in 3 Days realistic?
Potty training is really training your child to identify the need to use the bathroom and respond to that need successfully and correctly. From birth, you child has respond to this need almost as a reflex.

Your child has to be ready for you to successfully potty train him. A child is more or less ready when they are able to communicate with you, take simple instructions and his bowel and bladder are well developed. What your child need to learn is how to recognize the urge to go to the toilet, hold himself until he is well positioned on a toilet or a potty and how to willingly release his muscles and pass urine or have a bowel movement.
There are four main stages in potty training. The first three stages are easy and can be achieved in three days. The fourth stage may take a little longer. Let us look at these four stages.
* The understand stage
This is the first stage of potty training . In this stage, you want your child to realize that they should use the bathroom and not the diaper to answer the call of nature. This requires a switch in your child's brain because they are used to using a diaper. Now, they begin to understand that they need to use the bathroom instead.
* The frustration stage
In stage two, you child maybe be frustrated and embarrassed. The child realizes that they have done something wrong when they used their diaper or have an accident. The problem is they do not know how to do the right thing. In this stage, you need to be patient and teach show your child a lot of love as you teach them how to use the bathroom correctly. Find ways to reward the child without necessarily bribing them. Praising them for doing it right works very well.
* The accident stage
At this stage, your child knows how to use the bathroom but they have not perfected the skill. They may forget to go when they are excited or distracted. Accidents continue to happen but become much less. Some children still need to learn to respond when they feel the urge to use the bathroom because many will hold and only go when you ask them to. This indicates that parents need toilet training tips to train the kids.
* The mastering stage
Here, your child develops confidence and accidents become very few. In this stage, you want to teach your child take themselves to the bathroom without having to be reminded. This is the last and final stage. It may take a while for your child to become totally confident and use the bathroom with little or no help. Your child will still need you to help them wipe themselves and wash their hands.
