JR.bizlink: 10 Year Anniversary of innovative concept successfully brought to life

It's unusual for an innovative customer facing business concept to be conceived and deployed from deep within the ranks of a seemingly traditional large accounting firm. But that's exactly what Partner Teresa Hooper achieved.

Brisbane, Australia (prHWY.com) April 19, 2012 - It's not just unusual for an innovative customer facing business concept to be conceived and deployed deep from within the ranks of a seemingly traditional large accounting firm, it's unheard of. But that's exactly what Teresa Hooper partner with Johnston Rorke created with JRbizlink, and this month marks the 10 year anniversary of that original idea.

Teresa's vision was to create a franchised services model for pharmacies all over Australia, whereby they could 'go online' to manage all financial aspects of their business "One key success factor was simplified GST processing and reporting and that made life so much easier for small business" says Teresa.
Three Beta Pharmacy sites soon took to the idea of the fuss free system and less than a year after the initial concept JRbizlink had 'gone live' with several Pharmacy businesses relying on the service. The belief that these few original Pharmacies had was well placed and based Teresa believes both on the reputation of JR Pharmacy Services (a Division of Johnston Rorke Chartered Accountants) and that of the underlying business software Greentree "We (Johnston Rorke) are a firm that our clients trust, but to make JRbizlink work they also needed powerful integrated software that just 'did its job' and with Greentree as the platform we delivered them just that" she said.
Pharmacies come in all shapes and sizes, from the corner shop, to the large shopping centre store. JR.bizlink was able to accommodate them all and within 3 years the numbers grew exponentially. It didn't stop at Pharmacies; the JR.bizlink team applied the model to Hotels, Farms and even Property companies.
Fast-forward to more recent times and JR.bizlink now provide business consultancy, KPI advisory and training services to complement their proven business software solutions. "We are proud to celebrate the 10year anniversary of JRbizlink and I thank all the partners, team members, clients and stakeholders that have supported us on our journey" said Teresa.
