All Boys Summer Camp in Maine Helps Young Men Build Character

All the modern conveniences are available in the Camp T office, health center and dinning hall. Bathrooms are in separate buildings located near the cabins, and have regular flush toilets and private stalls. Each cabin uses a shower house regularly.

It is the philosophy at Camp Timanous, that developing skills already acquired and facing the challenges of learning new ones, implants in a boy incentive for growth and self-improvement leading to enhanced maturity and self-confidence. Over the years, many important life skills have taken a back seat to modern day conveniences. What were once common rights of passage into manhood just 60 years ago, have fallen by the wayside. Put your average teenager in 2012 out in the middle of the woods for a couple of days, and see if they have a chance of survival. This was not the case just two generations ago.
