The Adventure Council launches "Life Changing" Mission to Resurface the Real Potential of Youth Offenders
Mission Titled "The Committed Project" Makes Youth Offenders Determined to Achieve a Better Destination

Involving one of the most adventurous geographical locations of the world, i.e. mountains, this project is very interesting and useful for youth offenders who are often neglected by society. The Adventure Council spokesperson highlighted reasons that led to the launch of this particular project.
"People are quite fond of reading adventure stories but seldom think about youth offenders who are going through a rough patch. This project involves taking youth offenders to a life changing adventure that can turn them into responsible and respectable members of our society."
Mountain expeditions and adventures have a share of tragedies. There have been numerous instances where mountaineers either lost their lives or were left seriously injured. In response to how this aspect will be managed during the course of this project, The Adventure Council spokesperson had a lot to say.
"This project is not the same as adventures stories we read everyday. We have a strong support system involving trainers, youth mentors, Mount Everest mountaineers, ex-SAS officers and award winning film makers. Youth offenders taking part in this project are trained by our expert staff so that every member has a strong level of commitment towards the task."
What advantages will this project bring about the society? "The Adventure Council wants to eliminate the serious problem of reoffending, which is very common in young offenders especially after the first few years of release," explained the spokesperson.
"We want to make sure that our youth develops confidence and pledges not to go back to the bad habits again. We want them to consider this adventure or project more than a fun trip. The Adventure Council wants to make sure that the youth taking part in this project changes its perspective and serves the society positively using their experiences," the spokesperson added.
