Princess Bee to record the first international song about the UAE

New song entitled "Emirates" showcases country's transformation from early pearl diving origins to modern metropolis in both English and Arabic lyrics

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (prHWY.com) April 25, 2012 - Italian pop artist and philanthropist Benedetta Paravia, or who is also popularly known as Princess Bee, has announced the recording of a new song entitled "Emirates" the first international song wholly dedicated to the UAE. The song, which features lyrics written in both English and Arabic, talks about the country's transformation from being a small pearl diving community to a modern metropolis with tall skyscrapers. The Arabic lyrics of the song "Emirates" are taken from a poem entitled "The gentle Eastern breeze", which was written by His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Father of the Nation.

According to Princess Bee, the song is scheduled to be recorded by this summer with an Arabic Vocal Coach enlisted to guide her with the correct Arabic pronunciation, and will be co-produced together with the management company "Music is my life". An accompanying music video of the single will be shot across the UAE, showcasing the country's many key attractions. The announcement of the new recording follows the successful release of her latest songs.

"The song "Emirates" is my way of paying tribute to a country which I love dearly and have spent great time in. I have many memories about the UAE like my first visit in 2002 and later working there as an Ambassador for international brands like Cartier, Dior, Emirates, Skywards and even for Dubai TV", said Princess Bee. "My stay in the UAE also allowed me the opportunity of working with the Ministry of Higher Education, focusing on "The Intercultural Project" that was tailor made for Emirati students. The UAE has not only given me sweet memories but many friends who remained loyal to me to this day. Also, to pay homage to H.H. Sheikh Zayed, I have used one of his wonderful poems as part of the lyrics to this new song."

Meanwhile, "ANGELS", Princess Bee's non-profit organization, has recently launched a project called "Renewing Al Amal Orphanage", which aims to provide Palestinian orphans affected by the war with the necessary tools and assets for development and enhancing their psycho-motor learning abilities. The foundation has already started on improving the infrastructure of the Al Amal orphanage and will also donate computers, bicycles, Playstation consoles, a library housing an extensive line of educational books, a piano and clothing. "ANGELS" already set up an artistic laboratory focusing on creating ceramic and painting works and the gym equipment for the facility's newly opened gym. Princess Bee also pointed out that plans are as well being set for the most deserving students of the orphanage to be brought to the UAE for a brief summer vacation.
