Danny Esposito, editor for Penny Stock Detectives, recently reported on profitable developments in biometrics, the science that analyzes body characteristics like fingerprints, voice patterns, and eye retinas.
"Researchers and technology stocks are attempting to create central web services on the Internet for biometrics. This would mean that standard protocols would be used," comments Esposito. "Once standards are created, then one can access biometrics--fingerprints, eye retinas, voice patterns--from anywhere in the world, as long as one has access to the Internet."
Esposito urges investors to imagine the adaptation biometrics would undergo and how profitable the technology stock that defines the standard will be.
For example, says the editor, there's now software created by technology stocks that takes the images captured by handheld devices of the surrounding environment as one is walking, and transmits them to sensors affixed to a pair of glasses. These sensors then take these images and translate them to Braille, so that a blind person can feel a map of their surroundings; making them able to navigate throughout their daily lives without the use of a cane or guide dog, Esposito explains.
Besides the incredible social benefit this could potentially have in making the lives of the blind easier, notes Esposito, this type of software technology could have other uses.
According to the editor, there will be technology stocks that will use this technology to possibly create the next-generation video game interactive console. He also believes it may have further applications in engineering and in architecture. Esposito notes that this is pure speculation on his part, but says not to underestimate what technology stocks can do with this potentially game-changing technology.
Standardizing biometrics and the new imaging software are in their early stages of development, but have the potential to take the market by storm and alter how we do things today, according to Esposito. He believes these technology stocks have incredible potential and could be the next big winners out there.
