All Boys Summer Camp in Maine Offers a Wide Variety of Activities to Help Build Character
Developing skills already acquired and facing the challenges of learning new ones implants in a boy incentive for growth and self-improvement. Camp Timanous of Maine has a program that enhances their campers' maturity and self-confidence.

Camp Timanous Land Activities
Most of the activities at Timanous take place on 175 private acres of fields and forest with facilities for sports, ranges for shooting, shops for woodworking and crafts, and large buildings which can accommodate the entire camp for music, drama, or other special performances. There are many other land activities not listed here but contribute to a varied experience for our campers. All activities are age appropriate and allow for an escalating system of awards, which challenge and satisfy the novice or experienced camper.
The Waterfront
The water activities are centered on beautiful Panther Pond, a 1450-acre lake where Camp Timanous occupies the protected northern shore. Swimming takes place daily and follows the Red Cross and their own system of awards. Sailing is done on a myriad of boats including brand new Hunter JY15's. Canoeing and boating, waterskiing, tubing, fishing, and an extensive trip program are all focused on the waterfront.
