Local Interior Designer Voted To Leadership Role in New WCAA DFW Chapter

Interior designer was recently nominated to the Vice President position of Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of window covering industry association

Dallas, TX (prHWY.com) May 27, 2012 - Dallas, Texas - Local interior designer, Dot Greenlee, recently was voted to a leadership position in the new DFW chapter focusing on the window covering industry. She was nominated to serve as the Vice President of the Dallas Chapter of the Window Coverings Association of America (WCAA). Greenlee also currently serves as the 2011-2012 President of the Dallas Fort Worth Chapter of the Interior Design Society (IDS).

Greenlee said, "After receiving 6 referrals from one client's home in Flower Mound, I knew this was the creative career that I always wanted. It is an honor to serve my peers in the Dallas Fort Worth area in both organizations. I want give back to my industry and assist in the professional and educational development of others."

According to Greenlee, her specialty is designing custom window treatments.

She uses a graphic design software to create renderings of her designs for her clients. She shows them in color what the treatment looks like in a specific fabric or pattern before they make a decision.

According to the WCAA website the local chapters to promote professionalism and encourage education, to aid in the profitability and success of members, and to be a voice in the industry.
