Party Store Offers Brainy Decorations

In the sleepy small town of Norb, Nebraska, John Fisco recently had a challenging time filling the needs of some recent customers to his store. Nestled in the row of store fronts that flank the bustling main street is his party store.

Seattle, WA (prHWY.com) May 29, 2012 - In the sleepy small town of Norb, Nebraska, John Fisco recently had a challenging time filling the needs of some recent customers to his store. Nestled in the row of store fronts that flank the bustling main street is his party store. Typically, John carries a wide range of accessories that would be deemed appropriate for people of a variety of ages who are having parties for one reason or another.

From the smallest tyke celebrating their very first year on earth to that middle aged man whose 40th birthday seems to have triggered some long buried frat boy behavior, John stocks items from the mundane to the outlandish. Even so, he thought life as the town's lone party store owner was far from exciting.

"Then they walked in," Blair Nivens breathed excitedly. "John was in the back but I called him out to the front right away. I could tell I was going to need some help with this particular group of customers.

When John was called up to the front of the store by Blair's slightly quivering voice, he admits to being more than a little annoyed with her. After all, he had just settled in to do his monthly accounting and he had specifically asked her to avoid disturbing him. As he rounded the corner, the tongue lashing he intended to give her died on his lips, however.

"A group of about five or six of them stood there, swaying slightly and muttering only one word: brains," John intoned. "The man in front looked like he was dead but he was wearing a party hat while frothing slightly at the mouth. After a few seconds, I realized they wanted party decorations that featured brains for the upcoming birthday for the zombie in the lead of the group."

Asked if he ever feared for his brains while the group was in his store, John insists he never felt threatened. "The whole group handled themselves in a professional manner and were very interested in looking at my party supply book. Because I don't have brains themed party decorations on hand, I had to make a special order just for them which they promptly picked up the next day when it arrived via overnight messenger."

Except for those two brief appearances, John says he hasn't seen any of the group since. This is in spite of knowing every square inch of the place he has called home since he was born.
