Space Needle Serves as Launchpad for Flying Objects

In an effort to raise awareness about how important it is to use current SEO techniques, a local Seattle-based SEO company held a public demonstration near the Space Needle.

"Our goal was and always will be to educate the public and business about SEO techniques", said Brain Thames. "This demonstration with the Space Needle has been our biggest attempt ever, and we hope it really encourages people to see what impact using old SEO techniques can have on their websites."

The public demonstration involved sling-shooting several different sized objects off the side of the Space Needle. Each object was perfectly weighted to hoover in the air for a certain amount of time and then fall back to the ground. These objects symbolically represented a website's ranking in a search engine.

"Each object represents what happens when a website owner uses a certain SEO technique", explained Thames. "For example, when the old technique of keyword stuffing, multiple pages, and such was used search engine ranks skyrocketed for a time, but quickly dropped."

The old style of SEO technique known as keyword stuffing is considered by many to be a black-hat technique, and frowned upon in the Internet world. Many website owners still try to this technique today, and will see a quick spike in search engine rankings, but will quickly drop back down in a matter of weeks.

The SEO company of Organic Words for Hire used this public demonstration at the Space Needle to raise awareness of just how important good quality keyword-rich content is in the Internet world. Search engines will often favor websites that are regularly updates, use keywords occasionally, and who write good quality informative content.

"Companies don't realize just what they need to do to get to the top of the search engines", said Thames. "I really hope this huge demonstration at the Space Needle will show people just how valuable using the most updated SEO techniques can be for their business."

Organic Words for Hire offered 15 prospective clients the chance to sling-shot items from the Space Needle during this hour long demonstration. The demonstration was broadcast live on local FOX and ABC networks.

"We won't truly know the impact this demonstration had on the public until much later", said Thames. "But the initial feedback on this demonstration was pretty positive, so we're hoping to see a spike in business soon."
