Known for its excessive decoration, this Cathedral is rich in carved moldings. Its construction continues for almost three centuries. The construction began under the supervision of Bishop Jocelyn. It was built in Gothic Style. There is a central tower in the middle with pointed arches throughout the structure. The architectural beauty of Wells Cathedral is well-known. The façade in west-front houses hundred of sculptures. There are scenes from Bible that depict bishops, angels, saints etc. throughout the facade with Jesus Christ sitting majestically in the middle. The windows are made of stained glass. Most of these windows were destroyed in repetitive attacks. Bishop's throne has a canted front and a doorway. This well is also famous for a library that has books on theology, science and languages. The Organ was built and enlarged many number of times. The Church is a busy place where thousands of visitors come for offering prayers and taking part in ceremonies.

fountains abbey is a ruined monastery that that is located in North Yorkshire in England. Founded in thirteenth century, this UNESCO World Heritage Site has been a place of tourists' attraction for many years. The picturesque surroundings of the Fountain Abbey make the visit a pleasant and memorable experience. A river flowing near the Abbey adds beauty to this architectural place. There is a nave that is decorated with pillars and arches. The cloister is situated in southern direction. The chapter-house that lies in the eastern region is well protected from noise. Monks used to gather here and chapters were read. The dormitory was accessible by staircase and lanterns were used light the toilets. Fountain Abbey was famous for its hospitality as there were two guest rooms for prominent guests and a hall for the lesser ones.
