Delhi Safari - lands an 'Official Selection' at the prestigious Annecy Film Festival 2012.

Annecy Film festival which happens to be one of the most prestigious film fests for animation has credited Bollywood animation movie by Nikhil Advani and Krayon pictures, Delhi Safari as its 'Official Selection'.

Mumbai, India (prHWY.com) June 7, 2012 - Delhi Safari, the 3D stereoscopic animation feature film produced and created by Krayon Pictures, features in the 'Official Selection' section at the Annecy Film Festival 2012, which opened on 4th June. Earlier, Delhi Safari had also won the Best Feature Film (theatrical) award at FICCI FRAMES 2012.

"The Annecy Film festival is the most prestigious global festival for the animation industry and the selection of Delhi Safari signifies the coming of age of the Indian animation and its ability to create a truly international film with a universal story and world class animation," said Aditya Nath Jha, CEO of Krayon Pictures.

Krayon Pictures is a 3D animation studio in Pune that has been set up to create original stories for the global market. Delhi Safari is its first film. The movie is directed by Nikhil Advani and has voices by Govinda, Akshaye Khanna, Boman Irani, Urmila Matondkar and Suniel Shetty. The music is by Shankar Ehsaan Loy. It will be released theatrically in India soon. The english version of the film features voices by Jason Alexander, Brad Garret, Jane Lynch, Christopher Lloyd and Cary Elwiss. The film has already been sold in many international territories.

Delhi Safari is the story of a journey undertaken by a cub leopard, his mother, a monkey, a bear and a parrot when the forest they live in is on the verge of destruction. A man is on the run to destroy the forest in order to erect a balcony. These five animals plan to go to Delhi and ask the parliament some very simple yet pertinent questions - why has man become the most dangerous animal? Doesn't man understand that if the forests and the animals don't exist, man will cease to exist?
The pre-sales of the 3D animated Bollywood movie is headed by Fantastic Films International. The movie was also introduced at the Cannes Film Festival.

With its beautiful animation and synchronized voice over, Delhi Safari takes its viewers to an interesting journey with cross-cultural characters that will make you laugh, cry and think!
